Security threats to airports have evolved significantly over time, especially with the convergence of IT & OT. With steadily increasing passenger numbers, ensuring passenger security without compromising on travelers’ airport experience is challenging. Modern travelers also expect a seamless, paperless and secure travel experience that traditional approaches to security may not be able to provide. Air freight is an important aspect of the aviation industry and security is relevant here as well. These factors call for a new holistic approach to airport security that effectively secures airports, cargo, passengers and data.
